in 1993 by Michael "Woody" Boucher, Smokin' Woody's
was an instant success. When the restaurant was ready for expansion,
a new site was selected in Sawyer Michigan and top chef Calvin
Woods was eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share his barbecue
mastery with the community. |

| Calvin Woods purchased
the Smokin' Woody's Lincoln location in 2001 and has dramatically
renovated the building and improved it's style. Acting as top
chef, Calvin Woods creates some of the finest hard to find barbecue
delicacies cooked to authentic perfection daily. With over twenty-five
years of experience and literally thousands of completed catering
events, Calvin has still managed to hold true to his beliefs
of total freshness and authentic taste. |

Receiving his
formal training at the exclusive Chase Plaza Hotel of St.
Louis Missouri, Calvin has served as top chef at some of the
biggest names in the business. With experience at the Beverly
House, Max and Benny's, and De Leo's just to name a few he
had the opportunity to serve some of Chicago's elite. With
names Neil Hartigan, Alderman, Oprah Winfrey, and even the
Chicago Bulls on his list of clients Calvin has extended his
original service and unique style to all of Chicago.
